Can't exactly have a long weekend when your children have school. But they are out this Thursday and Friday for teacher work days.

Totally loving it!  I have off from both of my jobs and am getting paid by both to post on Fusion Cash's off topic! I have to catch up on so many things that are over due: oil change, Doctor's appointment, a visit to the gym, long overdue chores around the house, cutting down a tree, scheduling kid's activities for the next quarter, scheduling things to do on our holiday vacation. I am busier with a day off than I am working! Pheww!! But, importantly I have to get about ten entries into forum before things get crazy again, tomorrow!

It seems as though  a day off for a holiday is just as busy, if not busier, than a workday.

My daughter is in school and I have to work, but my wife works at a bank so she has today off--she's pretty excited

Any way for government employees to get a day off.
