I have never used those dateing services.  I say to anyone when talking online be carful.  My husband twin brother went to some of those sites and they would talk to him a few days than the girls starting asking for money to buy food, time for there phone, or even internet.  The sas thing is he was going to send them the money and I told him it a scam don't send them money.  On girl started calling him baby after talking online for a couple of hours and than asking for money.  Just be careful and when you do meet meet in a public place.

i think it doesnt matter when you meet just be careful and do it a public place in case something goes wrong or the person is really who she says she is

Take things slow. It's very easy to hide things when you are just talking to someone through net. Start talking on the phone will be a good idea as a start. Good luck and be careful.

I recently met a guy online. We talked  for about 4 months before I actually met him in person. He turned out to be pretty cool.

I have tried that, but it never works or those I chat with on line turn out to be scum and liars.  It depends on how you and the person get alone online.  Sometimes it doesn't take a lot of time if you are really interested.
