Facebook has actually banned banners on timelines cause the feel its like spam. Thou u can put your refer link on your status or message it to friends if they care to join! Good luck!

Myspace also banned banners and other advertisements since they also see it as spam so I have to use links instead and let people to to copy and paste the links instead.
