We have had 2 rat terrier/heeler mix dogs and love(d) them both! Very unique with their very own personalities.

I have a Jack Russell Terrier and they are AMAZING! They require a lot of energy though!

I also have a bit of a soft spot for Australian Cattle dogs.

I love all dogs! My brother has a little Dachshund named Arnie that I just adore. Whenever I babysit him overnight he'll curl up under my blanket by my feet and lick my toes. It tickles the heck out of me, lol.

We are big Chessie (Chesapeake Bay Retriever) fans.  I never knew about this breed at all until about 13 years ago when I was looking for a dog to include in our lives and saw 3 for free in a local paper.  I took one of the dogs and immediately fell in love with this breed.  Smart, loyal, sensitive, and loving.  The one thing about Chessie's is that they must be part of the family.  Often used as duck retrieving dogs for hunting, these dogs will "fail" emotionally if they are put in a kennel and only brought out for hunting.  I feel fortunate to have these dogs in my life.  Thanks for your topic!

I like huskies. Their coat and the fact that they are closely related to the wolf appeal to me for some reason. Golden retrievers & labradors are also great because of their loyalty and intelligence. I'm not so much of a fan of show dogs though.

The dogs we always end up with here are Heinz 57 varieties; all three dogs here are rescue dogs.  As far as breeds go I like Black Labs for big dogs, and I have a soft spot for bulldogs.

We are Miniature Schnauzer people.  We have two now and our first one we had from pup to her passing (about 13 years).

I've several that I like but the one that is perfect even when they having a bad fur day is the German shepherd breed. They always look gorgeous whether they're pure breed or, several different breeds mixed together. They look put together, highly intelligent, loyal, hard working, & an over all good breed. I was thinking, I like huskies as well. I wonder if I can find a German shepherd-husky mix! WoW what a beautiful combination   :peace:!

Pembroke Welsh Corgis are my favorite but I like Australian Shepherds and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels too.  I like ShihTzus too but they are so hard to keep groomed.
