Paid For Mileage
« on: July 10, 2012, 06:21:51 pm »
Does your company pay you mileage? If so what do you get? I think ours is 52 cents to the mile which I hear is really great compared to most

If you run errands for the company you work for, then yes you do get reimbursed for mileage.

I worked with one company and they did mileage but not to your first client and from your  last client, and at that time I believe it was only .19 a mile.  Than I switch In Home Companies and the had the same policies, but they paid a little more and by the time I queit in 2008
it wemt up to .23 cents a mile.  Now medicaid pays mileage rebursement for going to doctors but they do have their policies as well which I just received a check and they pay .23 miles as well so if you are getting .52 you are doing really weill.

Yes my company pays mileage when I have to use my personal vehicle to transport clients.  I believe the rate is .555/mile.

I'm going to have to drive to a conference in Sept it'll be about 300 miles round trip. Right now it takes about $60 to fill my tank sooo going to be cutting it close!

My boss didn't ever want to pay me, but I told her it is not in my job description to drive 20+ miles to other stores to pick up items when she forgot to order on her truck. She ended up paying my gas (gave me $5, which probably didn't even cover it.)
