Does anyone else suffer from insomnia? I've dealt with it my entire life and have yet to find a method that helps me fall/stay asleep.   :BangHead:
What do you other insomniacs do all night to keep yourselves sane?
I pretty much listen to music and do surveys until 6/7am when I start to get sleepy (Depending on what's happening that day, I might not sleep at all).  Kinda productive.  :D

Yeah, hello at 6 am, which is at the WRONG side of my day.  Still up and not sleepy at all, but it's okay, I'll crash sometime.

Try some over the counter sleep aids, they work well for me.

I worked crazy shifts for so long and when I got off at 11 p.m., I couldn't go to sleep because I was too wired. Now I have daytime hours (permanent, I hope) but have recently been waking up 2 hours before the alarm goes off. Sometimes Benadryl will give me restless legs, sometimes not.  After many years of insomnia, I asked my doctor for something to help.

It's almost 7:30 AM here and I still haven't been asleep.  I'm about ready to drink some herbal tea that usually helps me sleep because I have a commitment to be some where later this afternoon.

Ya...I wouldn't know what it's like to sleep like a "normal" person.   :o

Insomnia is the worst!  I am lucky that I don't suffer from that.  I try to keep my stress level down and do things that promote sleep.  The occasional sleepless night is awful.

For me it all depends on my daily schedule.  I had problems when I was in college and didn't have to get up early or be very productive.  With my work schedule now it isn't an issue.  If you want to fall asleep I would suggest working out or some type of physical activity that will tire you out.

I've never had any luck with over the counter sleep aids or natural remedies.  :- I usually just have to wait until I get sleepy...if I get sleepy. My family are all morning people and are constantly irritated by my sleep patterns, but I have no control over it. I tried Ambien once, which worked, but I don't plan on getting a prescription. I think the last thing I need is to become dependent on it. I usually just try to fill the time with things like reading, writing, researching, crafting, etc.
