Tired of talking to automated prompt?

I do a lot of researching online for new and different things, while researching today I found a site called "Dial A Human" http://www.dialahuman.com/.

The site has toll-free numbers of companies listed in alphabetic order that SHOULD ALWAYS connect you to a LIVE PERSON.

I hope I remember this site when I have a customer service issue with my credit card!!!

Thank you for your post. There is nothing I hate worse than talking to an automated voice. I feel it is insulting and it almost never completely fills the customers needs. It makes me want to scream, especially when I am saying one thing and the machine is saying another. I hate it.

You can make a copy of it and keep it by your telephone.
A friend told me about that website and that's what I did.
It is very helpful!

Thank you so much for such a helpful post there is nothing worse than going thru a computer for help who just ends up being disconnecting you so you get to start all over I'm sure I am not the only one that has screamed at the thing lol

I don't mind a few, dial 1 here or dial 2 here, but when it goes on and on...by then I want someone and I'm not a happy camper.

Thank you for the tip.  I just hope I can remember it.  I hate those menus that go on and on and you can never get a person until you've been on there for ages.  Sometimes hitting 0 will work and sometimes hitting 00 will work.

Or maybe just enough English that you can really understand.  I hate to have to keep saying 'What? or I don't understand what you're saying.'  Of course, part of the problem is probably me because I'm getting older and my hearing isn't the best anymore

Yes! for once I would like to talk to people on the phone about my bank problems.  There is nothing like good old customer service with a real person.

Thanks for the info. For the most part i very seldom have to use the auto dial crap. But i do wish for more english speaking people to deal with. Of course part of it might be me with my texan twang. Well we can't all be perfect.  But come on it is America and we all speak english don't we??
