I couldn't be happier for the conviction but sadder for the lives of the children he ruined.  I hope he gets his in prison .

I think that a prayer for his victims and another for his soul is in order.  If my boy had been one of the many that he was involved with I would not be as passive.  I would say an additional prayer for my soul because Jerry Sandusky wouldn't have made it into the legal system.  I would have performed my own justice.  I think that everyone is being gentle with him because he looks like a sweet old man instead of a demented, sick pervert.  What if he looked like a tattooed rapper...do you think that everyone would be handling him as delicately as they are with Sanduskey?

I follow college football fairly closely.  This whole situation has been very troubling in my opinion.  Jerry Sandusky was a great football coach, and on the surface appeared to be a great man.  Joe Paterno and Tom Bradley were also great coaches and knew something wasn't right with Sandusky's involvement with youth, but either did nothing or not enough.  There will forever be a black mark upon not only the Penn State football program, but the whole university.  I'm glad that justice was served and Sandusky was found guilty.

You can't consider an entire university to be at fault for the actions of a few individuals.

the guy obviously was guilty. even his lawyer couldn't keep a straight face. he wanted to get out of being his lawyer. even sandusky knew he was guilty. he had no expressions about it one way or another.

His "victims" aren't exactly little boys! How many little boys play college football? They should have had enough sense and enough guts not to go along with him.
[/quote His "victims" were actually 9 and ten years old at the time when they were abused.]
