My all time favorite book it's To Kill A Mockingbird. I also like The Essential 55,  and I Am.

Wheel of Time series is pretty good.  Can't say I have a favorite off-hand though.  Right now I'm reading Elric of Melnibone.

Roll of thunder Hear my cry by Mildred D. Taylor....I was sent this book from my sister back when the book was first published in 1976 and I still have the book. The pages are brown and old but you can still read it. I have since put it in a case as to try to preserve it somewhat.

Yes great book and great movie as well. My favorite book was "The Spy Who Came In From The Cold", by John Le Carre. It was made into a movie and Richard Burton played in the movie. And other books by the same author appeared on PBS.

"The Spy Who Came In From The Cold", is my favorite fictional book.
My favorite non-fiction book is by Richard Nelson Bolles, "What Color Is Your Parachute? A Practical Manual for Job-Hunters and Career-Changers".

He also wrote, "The Three Boxes of Life, And How to Get Out of Them", "How to Find Your Mission in Life", "Job Hunting on the Internet" and "Job-Hunting for the So-Called Handicapped". All great reads with lots of reference to other helpful books and to websites. Gave a copy to my niece a Duke and Rider college graduate, to help her students.
