That is what i did, i was a little concerned when i did the baking as i found a recipe that used no sugar , but honey instead. put a lot of dried fruit in them pluse a handful of choc. chips. But he really likes them. Haven been trying to wean him of sweets. I think i will keep this recipe and use it often.

I love baked goods,but do not bake because I do not like to clean up the mess. LOL

You are making my mouth water!!! Do you bake Lemon meringue Pie. I never seem to find one as good as grandma's-my mom and i were passed on that gift.

I actually had the same idea to bake something to do since it was a little to chilly to take my outside for the day, but I could not do that my son lost my foodstamp card.

Sounds like a good idea. My boyfriend and I love to get in the kitchen together.  I know it sounds unusual, but we actually consider creating in the kitchen a good time.  And tomorrow is grocery day, coincidentally, so I think I will get the makings for some good oatmeal raisin cookies.  He loves them with just a dash of colored sugar sprinkled on top.
