79 Degrees
« on: May 07, 2012, 06:02:53 pm »
It was great today in Down Town Portland Oregon. People were out and the weather was beautifull. Hey have you noticed that the Wheel of Fortune is here in Portland Oregon? They show great pictures of our area, and today was a great day to get out and explore.

I noticed the beautiful day cause I'm down the road in Salem.  Sounds like we might have a little string of them.   :notworthy: :notworthy:

79 degrees?  Sounds a bit TOO warm to me.  It's in the upper 60s here in Iowa and I'm good to go.  Tell Pat and Vanna "hi" for me...

I am in south Florida which is about as far as possible from Portland OR. We are hanging at 88 degrees this week and I am loving life. :)

I live in southeastern PA and the weather has been unseasonably warm for this time of year.
Going into the 70's again today

It was in the 80's yesterday here in N.C.  Nice but very humid.  Today and tomorrow thunderstorms.  This weekend is suppose to be really nice weather...low 70's with very low humidity!

We've had a crazy spring in MN... March was warmer than April, having temps in the 80s for several days in March but then having a few days in the 40s (and dropping below freezing during the nights) in April. This week looks to be perfect with temps in the upper 60s to lower-middle 70s.

Where in NC do you live? I'll be spending next week in Cape Hatteras. I hope it's warm and sunny there. I'm afraid it might be too chilly with the ocean wind blowing.
We had a really nice weekend, here in upstate NY, not quite warm enough for my tastes, but it was probably around 70, and nice and sunny. But it turned to rain yesterday and today.

It's in the 90s where I'm at.  Looks like it's going to be a early summer start.

Love your responses everyone. I know 79 degrees in on region vs another can be very different. My Mom lives in Florida, and comfort can really depend on the humidity. Wow does that ever make a difference. I find in most cases 70 degrees is ideal. But, where can you get ideal year round.?
