I found this in the "terms of service".

"Expiration. Once an offer or bonus has posted to a user's account, he/she must "cashout" within 180 days. After 180 days, offers and bonuses expire and are no longer eligible for payment."

So, basically, it's not every six months from when you sign up or anything like that, but is six months.  You have six months after you make the $$ to cash out with it.  If I make 55 cents today, in six months it will expire and you will no longer be eligible for the 55 cents.

Yes , you are correct.  You have 6 months (180 days) to cash out from the first offer you make money on.  You will cash out long before 180 days.  I am working on my 3rd cash out and started in November 2011.   Good luck.
