Retirement

I retired 9 years ago at age 62 from where I worked for years.  I could not take any more of the heavy lifting any more.  I stayed off work alittle over a year and then I had to get out and find a job because I could not live on SS.  I think it is a shame the older people barely are getting by.  May God Bless each of you and keep you safe.

With the Internet they don't have to "barely get by" anymore. I retired at age 62 over 11 years ago and I still haven't had to find a job outside the home and I don't plan to. No I don't have any pension or 401K to live on, I just got in and studied the Internet until I mastered what works for me, now when one program fails me, I apply the same skills to the next one and life goes on.

I would love to retire at 62. I wouldn't mind working part time at something I enjoyed. I have somethings in mind that wouldn't be as stressful as my job is now.
