Well after a ton of procrastination, I finally picked one up over the weekend and just finished installing it. I went with the Magic Jack plus, but right now I still have it plugged into the back of the computer. I'll probably move it down to a power strip later, but I was so happy with how easy it was to set up.

I made a test phone call and it's such a relief to have clear service again. We're way out in the country and my cell phone reception is horrible.

I recently heard of Ooma.  It sounds similar to Magic Jack.  It's a little more expensive.  They do advertise that you can fax with Ooma.  Does anyone have experience with Ooma?

I used it quite a few years ago.  Sometimes the quality was bad, but it is well worth the cost!
