Advice please.
« on: February 28, 2012, 09:25:57 am »
I am totally in love with my husband.  I wanted to be with him the rest of my life.  He gets mad sometimes and runs his mouth and says things he doesnt mean.  But the things he says are very hurtful and heartbreaking.  I have tried for the 5 and half years we have been married to look past it and move on.  I am tired and frustrated now of it.  Even his sister is telling me enough is enough.

But I love him so much I dont know what to do.  Stay and let him continue to say things he doesnt mean or leave and find peace without the hurtful things.  I am so lost and now that my Mom is gone I dont have anyone to turn to.  My sister in law says that her family will back me and I wont be alone.  And I will miss my step daughter so much.  What do I do?  He refuses counselling.

Don't know what your religious views are...but the first thing I would do is pray and try to talk to him about it. If he is not able to work it out then move on. Easier said than done I know. I will ad you to my prayers. Everything is possible in Christ.

Try counseling for yourself and see how that goes. That may help you decide. Good luck.

guurl, that's the situation I am in.  I don't and am not going to leave him, we've been together for the same amount of time as you 5 1/2...it's just part of their personality...although I get upset I try to think about what the problem is and then talk it out later when everyone is calm.  Guys like this are really big into their ego and sometimes it's easier to let them live it up and for you and I to just chill...love is all that matters.
