No, it wasn't. Well, I wasn't really expecting anything so I guess in a way it was. Christmas for me is never what I'd like for it to be, it's really disappointing too. I know how I'd like for things to be, but I just can't make it happen for a lot of reasons. Maybe someday things will change and I'll be able to make Christmas time special for myself and the people in my life.

Because of last minute drama with the sister in law, it was not what we expected. Well, I've come to expect that of her, though.

Yep.. it was fine. Next year, I am going to change. Set one time to have with friends and one time to have with family. Then mail packages to anyone who doesn't want to / can't get together. Having 6-8 different "Christmas" times (dinners, etc.) is just crazy. Easier to mail stuff.
I was lying in bed the other night, looking up at the stars, and thinking, "Where in the heck is my roof?"

I had a very good Christmas.  The best one I have had in years.  I had 20 people over and it was such a joy.  My neice and her family came over.  When ever I cooked they had something else to do but this time I had Christmas early and it worked out so good.  Hope everyone has a good weekend and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

Wow that's a lot of work, cooking for 20! I bet they loved it though :)

Mine was very, very busy but great. We drove up north to spend Christmas with my inlaws. My husband had to go home right after that, but I took a bus from NYC to New England the day after Christmas to spend a week with my family. Then I flew back yesterday. My connecting flight home was delayed by 4 hours, but at least it was a 4 hour layover at Washington-Dulles, so there are tons of places to walk around and window shop there. I got home very late last night.

I now have two weeks worth of laundry and dusting to do, not to mention emails to catch up on, but tons of great memories and pictures.

It went exactly as I expected, pretty basic and rather boring. I'm not much for Christmas I guess, I prefer Halloween  :dontknow:
