Genesis 4:10-12 (The Living Bible)
« on: February 10, 2012, 08:47:49 pm »
But the Lord said, "Your brother's blood calls to me from the ground. What have you done? You are hereby banished from this ground which you have defiled with your brother's blood. No longer will it yield crops for you, even if you toil on it forever! From now on you will be a fugitive and a tramp upon the earth, wandering from place to place."

Seems hypocritical since that same 'deity' preferred a (animal) blood sacrifice to a plant offering; the prior rejection by the blood-thirsty 'deity' of the plant offering lead directly to the subsequent blood sacrifice in this dubious pericope, (and reveals the vindictive nature of the object of 'worship').
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

Love the quote from Genesis! It seems like this week has gone by so fast. Now as Sundy morning approaches the night is waning slowly. I can't wait to get back to God's house. That quote is one of the more blood thirsty verses from the bible though there are quite a few more. Btw, is falcon a person or a bird in this instance?

Until I can train a bird to post for me, I suppose I'll have to make do.

Whereas "cubboo" is manifestly a shallow and immature kid, fixated upon popularity as if it were a contest.
