Whitney Houston gone, it is hard to take in, I was shocked when I heard on the news she is no more.  My heart goes out to her family and may she Rest In Peace.

I couldn't believe it when I saw this thread and hadn't read the news yet. I jumped over to a news site just to see if someone was joking or something. So sad and so very tragic. She had such an amazing voice! I feel so sorry for her daughter....

it's always sad when someone takes their life. She was a great talent with everything she could possibly want. I guess, even with everything, that she still wasn't happy. She will be missed. Loved her voice.

I prefer to hear the National Anthem performed in a traditional way but I've got to admit, Marvin Gaye at the NBA All-Star game and Whitney's performance at the Super Bowl were fantastic.  What a talent!  Wish she would have made more music.
