What are your thoughts of the show? Is it strictly a documentary type show or does it exploit the person they profile or a combination of both?

I havent watched it yet, but ive seen the commercial several times. It looks interesting, and I would like to see the change in the woman as she loses the weight.

I watched it.The guy actually hit about 675 lbs.After having bypass surgery he ended up sick.Not from the surgery,but got guillen barre syndrome.He had gotten down to 204 and then gained some back.It was kinda sad.I don't think I would want my weight problems on tv for everyone to see though.Weight loss is hard enough as it is without showing the entire world your ups and downs with it.

I haven't seen this one advertised, but did watch one of a woman who weighed much more than that.  She could not get out of her bed.  She finally found a doctor who was willing to do stomach surgery on her.  She was young (26).  For all her weight, she did not have heart problems or high blood pressure or diabetis.  She made it through the surgery and had lost a good deal of weight in a couple of weeks, staying in the hospital.  Unfortunately, she died in the hospital.

losing weight is easier than people think. u just have to devote a lot of time to exercise

As someone who has always struggled with my weight, I wouldn't want to be on tv.  I do commend them for being able to go on tv, and prove to the world that there is hope for most to get taken care of.
