The only thing I can suggest is to go to the "Support" tab and send in a ticket to plead your case. Tell them you didnt realize this was against the rules untill after you did it, and ask them to remove your referal bonus..
Theres no guarentee this will do anything tho, because you did clearly break the rules, which were supost to be understood before you even started... but its worth a TRY..

good luck..

Hi like Firestorm said it's worth a try! There's nothing better than the feeling of coming clean...go for it , at least you can say you tried.

I imagine as long as that person doesn't use your computer to log in again you should be fine but I would definitely file a support ticket to see what they say

Ah, that sucks. All I know is from the tutorial video, that no account can have the same address or IP address. I think it would be hard to convince them to take you back, but if you get your friend on it you might win.

I don't think you can delet your referal but just make sure you don't let anyone use your computer or ip address again and I think you will be fine.  Not sure but its worth a try or your friend needs to use a different ip address for there accont from now on and just don't do it again.

That's odd.  I missed that in the rules too, so don't feel bad.  I thought I read everything thoroughly too.  And it was to my understanding that you COULD have multiple residents from a house participate, they just had to have a different paypal account than you did.  Honestly, if you are the one that brings it to their attention versus you waiting for them to say something, I'd say they aren't going to throw the book at you.  I mean it's easy to believe you didn't do this intentionally.  I'm happy I read this.  I'm on my third month and my husband was going to sign up soon.  So good thing I came across your post.  We would have used the same computer as well.
