Facebook's new profile

I like the new profile.
It's called Facebook Timeline.
My nephew got the preview.
I asked him where to find it so I could apply it to my profile.
 It will officially be made public January 16th.

I've had the Facebook Timeline since October. (It was a developer's perk) and I like it except for the fact that my "About Me" section is completely different. Not that it really matters since I only add people I actually know in real life, so I shouldn't have to tell them about me.

I hardly ever go on facebook.  I see signs all over the place now saying like us on facebook. It seems like a new advertising ploy.

personally i didnt like it the last time they updated it in like 08, i see abunch of people with the timeline and just dont really get it. i do like the profiles looking a little less bland though, im the type of person who liked myspace a lot more back in the day cuz of customization, im glad to see facebook profiles getting a little more personalized. all in all i hate facebook though, and hope one day they go under. 8-) f*** facebook!! lol

No I don't like the new facebook.  I think they are always changing things around right when I get everything figured out.  I don't why they can't just leave it alone.  Like the old saying goes if its not broke don't fix it.

This timeline nonsense is absolutely awful. It's a huge mess. Things are more difficult to find and it's just chaotic. Facebook has a really bad habit of changing things constantly, and what makes that worse it that they never make it better. It would be nice if you could actually customize your page, similar to how you can on MySpace. The layout for FB profiles is simple and easy to navigate, the timeline garbage completely destroys that. FB still hasn't fixed the problem with my page yet, and it's been about 2 years.

I saw some of my friends had updated to the new timeline profile and I'm not that into it. A lot of them have been complaining about it, but I also wonder how secure it is? Can you still set it up that only your friends can view your information? I searched for someone and was able to see pretty much their whole profile because it was the timeline. I'm hoping that was because of her settings and that if you were to upgrade, you can still set it to give out minimal information when people search for you. Anybody know if that is the case?

I had the profile months ago, because I signed up as a developer. But now that everyone has it, it is rediculous, I cannot remove friends with the profile because the screen keeps flying up on it. Also because I have so many friends, the screen always has to stop running script every time I have to post something. It will do this over and over maybe 15 times before I get my stuff on there. It was better before. It looks better, but I don't think they had the kinks all worked out first.

My nephew has this on his fb page and I find it a little bit confusing. I guess it's because you get used to something one way and it changes. So i will just have to get used to this now.

I love it i wished more people would enable it so that i can find out about them i don't trust a lot of people on my friends list and the timeline will help me figure them out.

I dont like the new timeline profile.  It makes everything to mixed together and very hard to read.  I don't want to have it on my fb.
