do you ever dust above your cupboards with a damp cloth? I mean up high - not inside.

I don't have a space above my cupboards before the ceiling, so no.

I do dust up there but only once or twice a year.  It involves having to take all my "pretties" down and having to give them a deep clean too.  I've even been known to go to my Mom's to help her so she doesn't have to climb up and down a ladder all day long.  She has me lay down newspaper.  It catches a lot of dust and flying grease from cooking so I just have to pull it up...wipe with a damp cloth and lay more paper down.  The time consuming is cleaning all the nik naks up there.  I hadn't helped her for a couple years and nobody else had either....her newspapers had yellowed and were 2 years old.  We had a nice laugh over it.

My cabinets go all the way to the ceiling so thankfully thats one less place to dust.  I truly despise dusting and my sinuses go crazy everytime I do dust.  I keep a clean house but it very seldom gets dusted.

I don't go out of my way to do that, but I will if I happen to be up high in that area for whatever reason.  And yes, it can really pile up in places like that.

I bought some pledge wipes the other day to see if that will make dusting easier on my sinuses but have not had an opportunity to use them yet.  I'm hoping they will work great and not stir up much dust.  Has anyone ever used those type wipes?

I dust when I see dust, and that's it.  If it's an area that I'll never interact with (like above the cupboards you speak of), why would I waste time dusting there?

lol, that's a good question!

mine go up to the ceiling as well, so no dusting up there for me.
we have a few pieces of black furniture though and man do those
things love dust! ugh.
