No way there are a lot of creepers out there !!!! I see those commercials for like match.com where they met there soul mate and everything yeah but somebody can also make up things like walking on the beach sound like the nicest guy but be a creep sorry not for me I  would rather just meet normally !!! For those who do be careful !!! You do not know who you are talking to !!!! It could be a 80 year old man for all you know !!!!

I don't believe in them myself, but I have a daughter who married a really nice guy she met onone of them.

I have never and would never resort to online dating. I'm not the most attractive person in the world, but I haven't had a single issue finding a relationship out in the real world. If I was to have issues, I would just go to another place to meet people. There's just something that I can't quite put my finger on about online dating. Maybe the desperation that comes with resorting to meeting strangers. That just comes off as creepy to me.

Many, many people are getting into relationships online these days.  I'm on a free dating site, and I haven't found anyone yet but I have had a few dates I wouldn't have had otherwise.  I don't think they're bad, you just have to be careful.

I met my wife on one and we've been together for six years.   Its a good way to meet people,they connect you with others that enjoy the same things that you do, but you want to keep to your area and make sure someone else knows your plans if you go out on a date.   She should not invite anyone to her home.   Please warn her to meet these potential mates at specific places that are busy. Don't give your number, respond to these people through the site. Stay safe!

I don't use these sites but I am happily married.  I do know someone who has and he is gullable they were telling him right off they loved him and after a few weeks they stated asking him for money, phones, grocieries it was ridiculas. I told him they don't know you how can they say they love you, don't send them anything it doesn't sound right.

I never have. My now ex-husband used to use them... while we were married. My sister used them and met her current boyfriend of one year on one of them. I think it was match.com

in my experience with that is most of the people you meet ,never works out.
