Depends. There's no formula for it. I think the opposite is more true...depending on how long it takes, that might be how much you were really in 'love'. Personally, I know it takes a long time, so I don't pretend to be 'over' it. I get out of the dating game, let it process and once memories of that woman stop hurting and I'm moving forward w/o thinking about her or thinking about getting her back...it's time. Good luck. It's never easy, but you only get one run at this life thing, so don't use too much of it up.
