How is the economy doing today?

What do you guys know or think about the aconomy up to this day?

Personaly I know that it crashed.. List some Ideas of what we can do being in the middle
of whats going on in the economy systeam?

I think you have to keep a positive outlook for the long-term or else it'd be very easy to fall into a serious depression. While there are still way too many people out of work companies clearly are picking up steam with hiring again. You have to do whatever you can to make some extra money today..that's for sure.

I try to have a positive attitude and good outlook on the future and life; but I have mixed feelings on whether the economy is getting better, worse, or staying the same.  I am always happy when I hear about a new business coming to my area but then you look at the news and a huge company is laying off 2500 people. I continue to watch my family budget and finances and am always looking for ways to make extra money and save more

Depends on what you really look at!! Jobs are starting to come up! Debt is going down a bit! Thou Gas is on the rise!! And other things are a little bad! So it really depends on how you look at and what you look at!

It's still down. I think the worst is yet to come, at least as far as gas prices and the cost of living goes. However, I do think jobs are starting to make a comeback, even if they aren't the greatest jobs to work at, at least it's still an income.

  Well, I believe that the worst is yet to come.  if you read financial reports even the big investors and "financial gurus" are saying that 2008 was only the beginning and if i looked at stuff like rising grocery and gas prices and my still dwindling home value, I could sink into a big depression but God took care of me through 2008 which was the "pits" for my family and I am really working at shopping wiser and trying to look at any bills I can reduce or get rid of completely.  Except internet  I need that and I am able to cover its cost plus some with earnings online.  So best of luck to everyone, hang in there and do your best that is all anyone can do

More hopeful than anything else that it has bottomed out but not feeling too terribly optimistic.
