How many people will you be cooking for this year?  I originally thought it would only be 5 of us now it has turned out to be 11 and maybe 12!!!  I will be busy all day tomorrow and Thursday.  I will need Friday just to recover!

I normally only cook for my family of 4 plus one Air Force Airman who can't get home for the holiday. This year will be the same 5 people only. The only problem is that I couldn't that I could only find a 12 pd turkey, so there will be alot of left overs. The Airman doesn't eat turkey apparently. So only my husband, my 4 year old son, my 1 year old daughter, and me will be eating it. So we will have alot of left overs! :P

Generally you guys should say "Happy Thanksgiving" and list the couple of things you are thankful for. I have read too many cooking topics about thanksgiving over and over again and it's really annoying I tell ya :(

I am thankful that I am ABLE to cook for my family at Thanksgiving.  It's actually a pretty hard job, but such a great tradition at our house.  We will probably have around 15 this year.  It's usually more, but my youngest daughter and her band will be entertaining the troops in the Middle East and Africa for the next two weeks and bring them a little Thanksgiving cheer.  She's my roll maker and I will miss her help, but I am thankful for all the good she will be doing for our men and women who can't be home with their own families during the holidays.

I love the food at Thanksgiving, but I only make the cookies and deviled eggs.  I go to my grandma's house where we have a splendid feast.
