Doing what you love vs. making good money?

From day one i was always told do what you love that is what is going to make you happy but what if what you love is going to provide you with a life full of struggle yes maybe you will like your job but not when you go home and struggle paying the bills. Or you can have a job you hate but come home to a life where you do not struggle. I have changed a little its not necessary you like your job you can have fun at home weekends and all that I mean you can do what you "love" but still hate your job anyways so I am leaning more towards wheres the money
