Video's reroute to Facebook
« on: August 07, 2012, 11:30:33 am »
I have noticed more of the video's are forwarding you to facebook. I have not been doing them because I don't want alot of chatter on my facebook channel. Has anyone had this happen to them?? And does anyone know why it is going on??

Oh man, I had my mom text me the other day.  Ask me what is all this blah blah about.  I had to tell her don't pay attention to my facebook or tweets, lol.  I never send tweet to anyone unless they celebrity, which they never answer me.  Facebook, I just read what other say and rarely say anything on my own.  But now i guess they are all spammed out.  lol
So what I did was make a new facebook account.  You have to verify this with a phone.  If you need more assistance PM me (if FC has PM, really not sure) or just make sure to get a note over to me.

There have been a ton of videos lately and even skipping the ones that require Facebook, I'm getting enough to keep me busy for quite awhile each day.  I don't remember what app wanted Facebook access but if you go to your profile and look around, you should be able to deny them further access.

I have a FB account just for games/friends who play games and for talking to them about this kind of stuff. Some of them do it with me and it's always fun to see what they've posted/etc regarding surveys/videos and stuff. I have more friends on that one than my for school only FB page, sadly. Reminds me to go water all my crops.

I suppose facebook is a sign of the times. I don't use facebook or any other. But, some videos try to send me to facebook. I just don't go and lose opportunity for credit.

The answer is to when you allow the video to access Facebook (or when your originally did it) you select 'Only Me' for FB postings.

If you have already given FB access you can go into your FB privacy settings and remove the app, then when you allow FB access from the video again select the option as above.

I hope that makes sense.
