Today me and my bf and mi little one went to our new neighbors house and ate dinner...well they are fairly nice ppl..they are our age and have a little one of there own as well...so anyway...the chicks bf...is always puttin his head down like he is in shame when his woman or womans mother would yell at him...they would yell at him for the most stupid crap too....im all about a persons respect,,dignity,,pride,,,all that stuff ya kno...im sure he loves his girlfriend...and feels he has to be sweet to her mother even tho she is a complete WINCH..but y guys and even ladys y do you do that to yourselves...y let ppl walk all over you and put your head down and pratically bend over for it..ya kno...y...idk..guess mii mom raised me different...its sad thats all...i hate to see that...but come on grow some hair down there and let those things drop...and stand up for yourself and what you belive....idk jus blabin my mouth about things tht grinds my gears.. so comment if you like...but remember no matter who the heck you are..you are a somebody...and always will...you dnt have to do perfect or be famous or make a mark to be a somebody...cuz everyone is different even if they try to hide it..or be someone else...everyone is unique..thats what is great about us...ya kno...be yourself ...cuz it only matters

my brother-in-law is the same way.
he lets her run all over him and even controls his
checkbook. it's pretty ridiculous, and it makes me
mad FOR him, but it's not my problem and plus, he
lets it happen.

it's abusive, just like when men are abusive to women.

come with it. he probably feels trapped (especially
when there's a child involved).

First im a guy and i find that sad. I lost 2 gf becasue I confrunted there parents.
1 of them "Not saying names" Iher dad was always saying she can do better and im nothing but white trash. So i stude up and told him he has no room to talk being a broke @ss living in a traller park. I said least i have a job all you do is sit around, Who made his wife do all the work. Then i said no wonder she left you ya find drunk. Then after that he got up then got in his car and left. me and my ex got into a fight and well here i am 3 years later

Well my fiance, i love him, but he puts me down a lot --- i know  if i say something it will get me rilled up and start an even bigger fight so i just pretend it doesn't bother me (joyce meyers power thought: i am very difficult to offend) and try to show him the love of god and pray that god will change him.   not only that but if i don't fight back he usually ends up feeling like crap and saying sorry hehe

Honey do you REALLY want someone who puts you down (been there done that) they do that because they are soooo insecure themselves..trust me they dont change it only gets worse but i'll shut up and let you live your life...best of luck to you!!

+2 I totally agree with you! Any guy that puts you down is not worth keeping. I've been there and done that too. Sometimes it takes years to find the right guy. I just know that my husband never puts me down and is always supporting me. Please don't get upset. I just been where you have been in my previous life and would hate for you to get hurt in the future. It doesn't matter if you have a child or not, you need to walk away and make the change for the better for YOU!

Yes no one should be put down...never!....its a sad sad situation....i have been there before myself...but not for a long time...im a defficult woman to try to push my thoughts and feelings to the side....i will tell them how i feel and if they dont like it..then y are you still here ya kno...lol....so that relationship didnt last....lol...its saddens me to see or hear of someone being treated with no respect i cant stand that crap...i see it alot y tho is it because they have awesome D#$% or P^#$y? cant be...and cant be love...if someone loves you they love YOU so they sould be willing to give in to somethings that r different about you than them...because nobody is the same anyhow....Love yourself first then you will find someone who loves YOU...ya kno..

Wow..that's sad. Nobody deserves to be treated like that.    I respect my husband very much and treat him like he should be treated. But I will say that he needs to grow some too...I wouldn't tell my husband that..at least not in those words. My husbands mom is a real Winch too and she treats me and my 2 boys like dirt. My husband hates it and feels bad but won't stand up to her. Now don't get me wrong...he's not a momma's boy. He just really hates confrontation. Literally he doesn't confront anybody for anything. He's a great husband and father but it just drives me nuts to see him turn the other cheek way too often, especially when it effects his wife and kids.
