If they don't get organized with some direction and purpose I think it will just fizzle out and die.  In LA they were no match when 1400 police showed up in riot gear.  It is too bad it had to come to that, but they are costing the cities millions of dollar from the mess they leave.  I don't see how that is helping anything.

I think nothing.  Nothing significant anyway.  No change will come until we all pull together and begin to "unoccupy" their businesses etc.

I don't mind when people represent their views via protesting in support of a good cause.  In this case however, I'm just not sure the protestors know what the cause is.  I think they are simply making more problems than they are helping solve, especially when they keep everyday working people from getting to their jobs.  I'm not sure how it will end, I'll just be glad when it does...

I have to agree with the previous posters. There doesn't seem to be a clear cut message or direction. I have no problem with peaceful protests, but they need to clean up after themselves.

Quirita's right!  What everyone needs to do is have an "unoccupy" day and not go to work.  Stop everything in the country and let those corporate-owned government officials scramble to fix that!

Probably nothing except a massive cleanup from their mess and a waste of tax dollars to monitor them. Most of them don't even know what they're protesting and are there because it's cool.

1. The corruption of government by Big Money
2. The ultra-rich taking more and more, while demanding that basic services for the middle class and poor be slashed
3. Bailing out the very people that destroyed the economy, only to see them still making obscene bonuses while millions of normal people are jobless

Nothing.....They are pointless and irrelevant. A bunch of malcontents that could better use their energy by forming political action groups that are reputable and have some credibility by their accomplishments. Any FOOL can go sit somewhere with a sign. That does nothing! They also could spend energy getting further education and /or job hunting. When I saw the picture of one "Occupier" defacating on the American flag, that's when I knew they were useless. The way they camp out in places for days at a time also make them smelly and hygenically deficient!

I think that the organizers may figure out what it is they are protesting. Once that happens, and can be explained intelligently, they may be able to enlist the aid of another thousandth percent of the ninety nine percent to their cause.  Camping in public areas en masse, being rooted out because (in many instances) they have been a danger to themselves, and lack of organization will cause them to be one of the larger non-events in history.
