Volkswagens are not as good as they are hyped to be, and certainly not worth the sticker price. The Passat is like their sports car type and really not good for a family car. It's mostly for the single or couple with no kids car. It's got a bit of pep to say the least and fund to drive, but like I said before, not real reliable anymore.

Also, this should be posted someplace else like "off-topic" instead of "suggestions" on this forum. Your a newbie and I understand that you are still learning. Take this as such.

volkwagen passat what do i feel about it ,will very good car and runs good and drives good and good on gas and now its not for a big family but just fine with a small or getting started family or a single persons all so,but this car isnt for ever body we are know it

I know that VWs from the early 2000s have had some problems with the transmission, etc. My friend had a 2003 Passat that was a pretty good car, but had some odometer problems that made her cruise control inoperable. She must not have minded too much because she recently traded it in for a new Passat that she loves. It's a really nice car, however if anything goes wrong, WVs can be pretty expensive to fix.

I have a 2008 Passat and I have had no problems with it. I love to drive it. It rides nicely and the driver's seat feels like it envelopes you. I love it, but my husband drives it to work now, since my 4 kids do not fit in it and I am forced to drive an Expedition.
