Should I cook everyday?

I cook breakfast some weekends, lunch some days, and dinner everyday, is that enough?

It's really up to you on that. I do, and I find that I save more money that way, plus i get to control what goes into my food too.

My wife cooks big batches of casseroles from scratch and divides them into mini glass containers and freezes them. Then we can take out and microwave, just like a convenience food but made with pure ingredients and not a ton of sodium!

i definitely don't cook everyday, but if you LIKE to,
by all means you should  :)

keauhou, i do that too sometimes. it cuts
down on the after-work drudgery of not wanting
to cook, but still having a home-cooked meal that's
easy to re-heat and still tastes fresh.

sometimes i make things that we can eat for a couple
of days. i'm picky about leftovers, so i make things
that keep well: chicken salad, egg salad, pizza
casseroles, etc.
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

I get to cook every night except sundays as we go out to eat and for a drive.  I come from a farm life where we had potatoes, meat, vegetable and salad and of course dessert every night!

I usually cook one big meal in the middle of the day, and we have cereal or tast for breakfast .  I had not thought of glass containers to freeze thing in.  I will have to find some thanks for the great idea.

Is it enough for you?  Who can tell you when you should cook or not that's up to you.

depends on how often you eat a day. i try to cook different meals on saturday and put in the freezer for the week and we just eat toast, eggs or cereal for breakfast, just something fast n easy.

We usually eat one big meal during the day.  I used to freeze my left over in the freezer, but have gotten out of it.

I think that being creative with and trying new combinations for recipes is more than half the fun.
