I have a few co-workers on Facebook as I'm close to them, but I choose to not add everyone even though some people do ask if they can "friend" me. Of course I'm running out of excuses not to add others.

If you only socialize with them at work then I probably wouldn't have them on my facebook, you just never know who might be watching and waiting, if they aren't on your page then they can't cause you any problems.

I have to say our company has lots of rules about associating with managed staff outside of work. Facebook has been blocked on the company servers. And there is a strict social media policy that makes the Salem witch trials look like an innocent mistake in historical judgement.

no not unless u get into a fight over facebook and it gets back to your boss and then u get fired.

Be sure to make sure it's ok first, I add people that I actually converse with at work rather than adding everyone.

9 times out of 10.  Yes it is.  Easy fix is to make 2 seperate accounts, one for personal and one for professional.
