If I'm going to the theater by myself or with a friend (aka childless) I usually will take a bottle of water and some candy in with me although sometimes I will buy the candy there especially for the Snocaps! If my son is going as well popcorn is mandatory. And I'll usually get a soda too since I'm buying the popcorn anyway....plus can't live without the candy. It was MUCH cheaper to take him to the movies before he turned 3 and I had to start paying for him to go as well. It's a great treat for him to go though and I figure that the popcorn and everything is part of the experience. Besides if it keeps a toddler in their seat to watch the entire movie no price is too high. LOL

What ever happened to the drive-in days when a whole car got in for one price, you brought your own popcorn, and you watched two movies.  Ok, Im showing my age...

Movie popcorn is the best !! Throwing a bag in the microwave and streaming Netflix just isn't the same.

i like popcorn from the movies but sometime they don't give yu fresh popcorn all the time

Sometimes I buy it but mostly it is too high priced at the movie theaters.  My son works at a movie theater and one time he brought home a big gallon sized trash bag like bag of popcorn.  We had popcorn for over a week!  we even shared with the neighborhood kids.  It was fun.

i don't buy ANYTHING at the movies,
besides my ticket
i usually just pull out one of my bigger purses and throw snacks/drinks inside.

nah...servings too much, too expensive, and often a distraction from the movie....i will have it when I'm at home though!

well i do not take the popcorn to the movies and i popcorn at home.
