The worst thing that happened to me in my life was getting surgery on my back and also on my gall bladder painful very both surgeries.

I would have to say the worst thing that ever happened to me is I lost a set of twins in the first trimester and than in a few years later I got pregnant again with twins and carried them to almost full term and I triped down some stairs (caught my self so I did't fall down) and my uterus tore and my babies drowned and died three days before I was supose to have them by C-section. I was heart broke and depressed.  This was my second marriage and both my husbands cheated on me and expected me to be ok with it.  When I lost my second set of twins I was through with my second husband cus he was with his girlfiend who was also pregnant.  I was devestated.

The worst thing that's happened eh? Well I don't really know. I've never been admitted into the hospital, I've never broken a bone in my body. My family has always been there for me and I'm pretty sure my life is going in the right direction. I have had friends in my life that have turned their backs on me and were back stabbers for that matter, but life goes on. So the worst thing that I think to happen would have to be death in the family, but thats the way life works. I come from a huge family. My dad has 15 siblings and my mom has 8. But the worst was a couple years ago, August 9th, when my cousin was killed in a car accident but he wasn't in the car when he got hit by another car. Nobody really knows what happened so it's a mystery that the cops can't figure out. It just lingers.

the worse for me is losing my Mom, Dad, brother, husband, and sister inlaw...I miss them all so much

Wow...after hearing everyone's stories, I feel pretty sad now. The worst thing that ever happened to me was probably just getting a surgery where they had to saw off a piece of my hip. Staying in the hospital for 2 weeks was pretty boring, and just the thought of someone sawing off a piece of my hip just scared me and still does.

There's a lot of worst things that happened to me but I think the worst was waking up in the hospital & not remembering who I am & my family. I was 8yrs old when I was hit by a truck, due to sever head injury, trauma, brain damage, I never regained my memories of 8 yrs of life. I literally woke up in an 8yr old broken body with no history to go with it. Even now, I still feel distance from my family & always feel like I'm a stranger looking in from the outside.

Most recently, in rehab. watching my Husband go into some kind of stroke & began shaking while the retarded nurse just morbidly watched until I screamed at her to do something! Ya, he didn't make it & he didn't have a chance with that crap for a hospital sending him to a rehab. center when he's a heart patient recovering from mersa. The day he was cleared they sent him out & instead of sending him to a cardiac rehab. they sent to some kind of nursing home facility! I should have known he was going to die there. I don't care how many times they change the name of that rehab. center;his Grandmother died there,his Mother died there,(the staff stole her rings off of her dead cold hands!) now,he dies there! I know that I will take every measure never to end up there if I ever become too ill to take care of myself.They should change the name from rehab center to the Death Center!
