Cell Phone Offers
« on: August 01, 2008, 12:52:36 pm »
Do the cell phone offers cost money? I didn't know that, I thought they were free, am I now going to get charged $10! This is unfair. I wouldn't have taken the offers if they weren't free.

It says at the bottom of the page where you enter your phone number that by entering it, you agree to be charged $9.99 a month until you cancel the service--if you decide not to cancel you will be charged again every month hereafter.

Not okay to discuss how to cancel an offer-- shhhh-- that's what TOS and reading the offers are for  ;D

he's not trying to cancel the offer, he just doesn't want to be charged in the future for it, texting stop and telling his cellular phone provider not to accept bills from that company in the future will ensure that he doesn't continue to get billed.  By the way, my neighbor found a great way to do these offers, send me an e-mail if you really want to know the best way to do them.  psychobobtb@aol.com, put the subject as "cell phone offers" or I probably won't realize what it is and end up deleting it
