litter boxes stink

i have two cats and one just had 6 bbabys soo cutte and the litter box stinks what to do to get rid of that bad smell i change it offten butt i hate the way it smells in my house

there is a litter out there it is crystals, and I had six cats and when you walked into my house you get not smell anything.

I use CVS pet ctrl litter for 2 bucks. i also clean the box with hot water and mild detergent or soap. But I have only 1 cat.

Sometimes it also depends on the brand of cat food you feed, the smell that comes from the box,

I use Arm and Hammer baking soda. Sprinkle it on top of the litter. The super Pet stores have special litter for odor control but they are expensive. If you love cats then you must change the box twice each day. Morning and afternoon.

Here's another choice for you.
A couple years ago, a cat owner asked me to research a "Cat Genie".
 It hooks up to your plumbing in your bathroom.
It flushes.

I have a dome litter box that looks like an igloo so you won't see the cat's crap and I don't smell it either, because it has a washable filter in the top of the dome.  It cost me about 40 bucks at Petsmart, but it is totally worth it.
