i was so excited when I made Full member!  And now I'm on my way up to the next level...can't wait!  Gives you something to work towards besides the monthly three dollar bonus!  It's nice seeing the title and stars.

The ranking and stars next to your username are strictly based on the number of posts you've made. Here is the list again from a post by swogden:

Newbie:   0-49

Jr:          50-99

Full:       100-249

Sr:         250-499

Hero:     500-749

Elite:     750-999

Silver:   1000-1999

Gold:    2000 & above

I just love to level up!  ;D

No, although it does give other members an idea of how active you are on FC. What benefit are you looking for?  ;D
