I am not sure what we are doing. Maybe going to the neighbors house for a cookout.

We always have a parade. Fireworks at night. Not feeling my best so will keep it on the down low this year. Been invited different places, but want to stay close to home. Watermelon is definitely in the future of the 4th. I wish California at least let us buy sparklers, but no home firecrackers at all. When I lived in Alaska, we bought firecrackers all the time......the big kind.

My thing...now...is to NOT set my neighbors yard on fire!!! This past new years eve a fountain fell over and the fireworks shot into the neighbors grass setting small, rapidly spreading fires. It was just me and my three kids and two of them are just preschoolers lol. So me and my oldest who is 12 went over and started trying to beat them out. I was using my houseshoes!!! Oh my goodness. I think I'm done with fireworks. Will probably not be doing anything this year.
