I would like people's opinion about facebook is it for adults or is it too many young kids on it now a days?

I am on facebook, but I have to say, I really don't get it.  What do people get out of it and why do people want to be there instead of in the real world of real people?  I think that EB White and George Orwell and Ray Bradberry are smiling and shaking their heads about the way we are turing out and how close they predicted the future world.

No, it is not just for kids--if I as a 73 yo am not a kid. I like it to keep in touch with friends and relatives who don't live close; have also found friends I have lost touch with over the years. It is a good communication tool in this era of far-flung friends and relatives.

Facebook is a great tool for communicating and keeping in touch with friends, relatives, and others. One can even advertise his business(es) on Facebook for free. It's age-friendly. Many fanatics even make Facebook accounts for their 1-month-old infants and pets. If one doesn't want to share his opinions to the world, Facebook has the perfect security management system.

I use it to keep in touch with some friends.  I also use it to get bargains and coupons at stores.  There are many sites that are on facebook.

I have two accounts.  One for personal which I hardly ever use and another I use as a marketing tool to get referrals.

Younger and younger people from my hometown try and add me. I think it should be used for communication and marketing, which most young kids don't need yet. But I also laugh at my grandma's friends who try and add me because they just want to gossip.

I use facebook for friends and family and to post pictures like when I go on vacation, easy to upload and save there.  It has gotten little out of hand for those that post a status every five seconds though!

I use facebook to talk to new people and learn new things. And i also try to explain to new people about  about how great fusion cash is. Thats one of the place i try to get people to sign up for this site.

I'm a sporactic user on Facebook. I use this to keep up with family, casual acquaintances, old classmates, etc. I use to enjoy this social site, but I have not liked a number of their privacy changes and sometimes annoyed about the things people post. I do find this sometimes beneficial especially with the periodic promotions from companies.
