This is something I've often thought about because I worked with a lot of special needs. Both would extremely difficult and be very isolating but given the choice I would rather loose my hearing vs my sight. Darkness has always scared me. I rather be able to see and comunicate in a different way then not see

Agreed. I would rather losing my hearing than my sight....
I was lying in bed the other night, looking up at the stars, and thinking, "Where in the heck is my roof?"

Definitely hearing.  While it would suck to be deaf, you could still get along and lead a fairly decent, normal, happy life.  Your eyes, on the other hand, are absolutely EVERYTHING!

I would choose sight,  my Grandfather was blind and I grew up with him living with us.  I learned how to live with a blind person.  I find myself sometimes walking around a dark kitchen getting me a drink of water the way I watched him do it.  I count steps out of habit and I organize my money like blind people do out of habit.

Hearing.  If I couldn't hear it wouldn't be as bad as not seeing.

Hmm I disagree. I would keep hearing. After training and lots of will power I think I would be able to see the world with sound. Technology has proven it with sonars. Even nature with bats. And one of the things I would appreciate is the possiblity of reading a person better. Looks are deceiving so just not look. Lol.

90 days before expiration. Mine has to be before Aug.

I would have to lose my hearing, I'm pretty good about communicating with others and I would be lost and useless without my sight.

I would probably rather lose my hearing, I am a very visual person so to not have my sight would really really really mess me up.
