BK:  That was really inconsiderate of her, apparently she's got alot more nerve than brains.  Congratulations on the new baby & Happy Mother's Day to you!!

congrats on your baby!  yes, that was inconsiderate - and I would have politely said "No".
End the suffering!  Get your cats - and all strays and ferals - spayed and neutered!

You might as well get used to saying no now.  As a mom, you'll be doing a lot of that followed by "because I said so - that's why"   ;D
Congratulations and Happy Mother's Day!

Well, I don't know about you but I would have reminded her that I just had a baby. I can't be looking after your kid while I'm trying to take care of my newborn. Unfortunately, common sense is not so common. Some people don't have that in their brains. You have to be up front with her and tell her. No, I can't take care of your kid. By the way, congrats on your baby and Happy Mother's day to you. Take care and God bless.

So I had a baby Tuesday morning and came home from the hospital Thursday afternoon.  On Friday night my fiance's sister had the nerve to ask me to watch her 10 year old because he was having a hard time (her way of saying his ADHD is acting up and basically she doesn't want to deal with it).  HELLO!!!  I just had a frickin baby, and I hate watching your kid.  Do you really think I'm going to say yes???

Did your sisters brain go on a permanent vacation?  She should have been the one there to help you with a 2 day old baby.  Some people really do not have any common sense or care about others.

I'd feel the same way. She wasn't thinking of what you went through.

I hope you told her off haha or at least sarcastically accepted like "I see your envious of my parenting skills. Stick around, I'll show you how its done."

sounds like they had a child  when they were not ready to have one they must have forgotten about birth control
