Although there are plenty of other Al-Quieda members who are just as deadly and will be ready to take over for Bin Laden, I will still celebrate his death.

I am not a proponent of the death penalty, and normally do not celebrate a "death" - but in this case I take exception.  He is the symbol of grief to all marked by Sept. 11th.  And to think - he was living in a million dollar compound!
End the suffering!  Get your cats - and all strays and ferals - spayed and neutered!

The American citizens have the right to "celebrate" the end of a man whose life was marred with hate and terror.  I'm just sorry it took so long to bring him to justice.  I'm sure someone else will try to step in to his place, and if so, we have the same answer for that person or the next, or the next.  Praise God!!!  He brought justice.  I wonder how OBL is enjoying his "virgins".  HA HA HA  God has a special place prepared for him and it won't be the bliss that he was expecting!  Truth hurts sometimes!!  And sometimes for a long, long time.
Have a wonderful day!

Its not a celebration of his death but more a chance for America to rise to its number one status

I'm happy that he's no longer a threat but I'm not celebrating his death. I feel a little weird celebrating a death no matter who it is. Maybe I would feel differently if I had lost someone on 9/11 though.

Osama and his followers (Muslims) were celebrating when the Twin Towers went down. Even here on US soil. Before anyone starts trying to reprimand anyone in the US for being happy an evil murdering tyrant is dead, think about actually losing a loved one to terrorism, then see how you feel.

I thank God for our military who carried out this victory. God Bless America! At least the world knows that the US will not stop until justice is done. Not only did we rid ourselves of this man, but for the good of other countries also. The US wasn't the only country he and his minions targeted.

Yeah, there are those who want us to quake in fear that there is going to be more attacks or retaliation. That's what they want us to think! No! We are America, and we will fight for our freedoms and those who have no one to fight for themselves also.

I didn't celebrait.  Didn't watch others do it either.  I don't see a reason for it.  Didn't change a thing in my world.  Pretty sure it didn't change anything in the mid-east.

Not trying to be hard nosed about this, but I know people in Israel and they feel differently. They are breathing a bit easier themselves.
