Ok i know what a check is but i was wondering why people cashout by using checks. What can a check do? Paypal you can buy stuff online but how does check work and what can you do with it?

I have cashed out using a check. Not everyone prefers to use their earnings to buy stuff online. Some people might just want to use their earnings to go to the store, gas station or restaurant or whereever.  You just endorse it, take it to the bank and cash it. So that's why you'd want a check. It just depends on your preference.

I cash out using PayPal and transfer it from PayPal directly to my bank account.  I prefer that as opposed to a check that I physically have to go get in my car, waste my precious money in gas and drive to the bank to cash.  I prefer to do it online because it saves me money and time.  I don't really deal with checks any more it's kind of old fashioned.

It depends on what you prefer. Some people use paypal b/c they got worked out so the funds will directly go into their bank account. Others use pay pal so they can purchase stuff on line. I personally don't like to use pay pal b/c it's all to confusing to me. I don't like the though of electric hands messing with my monies. I also like the fact that with a check, I can hold it in my hand & know that it's real. Like to physically to like take a picture of the check to post for the $1 post your payment picture on FC site. And I like to physically take that check to my bank in deposit in person.

also, some people just don't have a bank account, so sending money to a paypal account would be usless since you can't extract or transfer your funds without it being verified to your bank. i have a friend who is a referral of mine that just requested a check, since she doesn't even have a bank account she'll have to sign the check over to her mom or something so she can cash it for her.

I personally prefer the check option because I don't have to pay a fee to paypal to get them to send me the money.  I don't use mine to buy stuff except maybe groceries or to help pay the bills so I need good old american cash.  Plus, I like to see my money.  Guess I am just old fashioned about that.  I take all my little checks from FC and other sites and take them to the bank on the same day and I feel pretty good about getting a hundred dollars or so.  I totally agree with tantrica44.

I've been getting a check for almost a year, but changed to PayPal last month. It was so easy to just transfer the funds to my checking account without having to go to the bank, etc. I should have done it sooner. Direct Deposit is the one that I don't think I could go for. Putting my personal banking information out in cyber space has come back to bite me more than once. I don't do it anymore. PayPal is such a great secure site, and I trust it completely. Had a PayPal account for years. It's really great for buying online.

Well i use check because I am in no hurry for the money. Also, i like to keep my income from FC separate from my real job in paying bills. So its matter of management.

Sometimes I use a direct deposit, sometimes I use paypal.  It just depends on what I need the money for that month.
