This is true. Unfortunately our current problems are going to last decades. Granted gov't spending has gotten worse with Obama, you can't expect to tighten the leaking pipe with one quick and easy crank. Both sides are going to have to work together extensively to resolve this, but I see a lack of that since the newly elected officials deal with topics like they're a game of hot potato.

It took George Bush eight years to send our country into the worst shape it has ever been in.  Bill Clinton left us with a zero trade deficit.  George Bush put us in something we may never recover from.  So many people say it was because of the war.  Whatever.  We went into that country under contrived/false pretense to stoke his ego.  For Obama to just maintain the country deserves kudos.
