why is my picture not showing?

I uploaded a photo for my profile, but it's not showing!  Yet there appeared to be no problem uploading it.  Is it because I use Google chrome?

Have you tried uploading a new picture to see what happens?

not yet..I will, though.  Nothing appeared saying the size was wrong - so it can't be that?

Probably not size-related.  Try uploading another one and see what happens.
