I referred someone on sunday, they signed up and sent back comfermation and I haven't recieved credit.  The person is on my referal list though

If you know for certain they confirmed their e-mail address, you may want to open a support ticket to see if they can straighten it out.  There could be a glitch, or something else might be going on.  The staff should be able to help you.  Good luck.
