What will working people do when Gas reaches $5.00 per gallon?

I can thankfully walk or take the bus to work, but people who have to drive will continue to cut back on whatever they can.

Its not only the working people it affects,look at the people that draw a monthly check only they have to have gas for a lot of different things.Like drs. and such.

Working people will do what they have to do, we will pay the $5.00, but to go to work only and cut out all the little trips we take back and forth.  What other choice do we have?  People have to go to work, if we can do something can someone tell me what?

My god this thing just never stops going up. Imagine how much gas will be in 5 - 10 years maybe in 20 years they will find a new source of fuel

thats why have bike 2 wheels and peddles and my ride is broke down so i really dont worry about it im just hopping for the price to drop that all i can do.

Gas at $5.00 per gallon wouild be a nightmare for working people. It would be almost disasterous for the unemployed. I hate to think about it
