Im old enough to remeber his songs. He wrote lots of song song Gospel and some country. They really dont know what killed him but some think he died of a broken heart. What do you think?

I have not heard any of Hanks songs in along time.

he died from alcohol and morphine injection mixed with  b 12 shot i no my mom loved his music i grew up listening to him

I have a lot of his music on my computer, which surprises people sometimes, I guess because I'm younger than his grandson.  Speaking of which, I also have lots of Hank, Jr. and Hank III on my computer.  Incredible musical lineage there.

he had a great voice but had some chemical problems that shortened his life I still listen to some of his cds every niow and then.

He made some great music and really did a lot for the country music by the fact that his legacy has been passed on to his son.

Love is music.  He was an alcoholic and it killed him.
