I guess it depends on your budget, the varieties offered, and what your child will/won't eat. Some parents choose to make their own baby foods. When my nephew was a baby, I think mostly what we had was Gerber...for one reason or another. I didn't buy the food, just fed him. I know Gerber is a brand that has been around for many years, and is well trusted by many. As for the other....can't say that I've actually heard of it.. or maybe I have, and it just didn't stick in my mind.

I always bought the cheapest, but the biggest variety.  So if Gerber had flavors another brand didn't, I would buy both.

It was Gerber 18 years ago. We lost our baby so won't get to choose again.

Just My Opinion ..... in case anyone thinks I'm starting to sound snobby or something down at the end ....this is my disclaimer.  ;)

I made my own baby food or bought Beech Nut, especially for the blueberry one, or the Gerber meats. I didn't buy the regular Gerber ones because they always had things mixed in that I didn't want my son to have (I was very strict on the introduction of foods and how old they needed to be :)) Beech Nut is pretty inexpensive probably the next closest to making your own (the cheapest option) but I'm not sure how much Parent's Choice is.

Personally I wouldn't have touched Parent's Choice with a ten-foot pole. I worried about contamination because it is packaged in China and was always VERY careful to make sure that anything that I bought for my son was packaged in the US or Europe. I may not be as worried now but at the time there was lots of problems with both pet food and baby formula packaged there and I didn't want to take that risk. But overall I tend to try to support companies that grow and package their food in the US anyway whenever possible.

My granddaughter eats gerber natural select. She seems to eat and tolerate it well. Some of the other brands have upset her stomach before.
